These are the most important, and least flexible rules on the forum. They will be strictly enforced, and failure to abide by them will incur harsh punishments.
(Not to scare you or anything.  I will never delete your account or suspend you without prior notification. However I am serious when I say these rules are serious. Just follow them and we won't have problems.)
1. Don't Godmode. :: Fairly self explanatory. Godmoding makes RPing less fun for everyone.
2. Be sure your posts are long enough. :: The required posting length is one paragraph. That means 7 complete sentences, with correct punctuation. This is the bare minimum. It is not as difficult as you would think to make your posts longer. If you need help with this I would be more than happy to oblige. Just ask, there is no shame in needing a little help.
3. No chatspeak in character. :: This means no "lols", "omg", "ttyl" etc. I'm sure everybody knows what chatspeak is as it is now impossible to ignore text messaging and ims. But don't do it in character. It interrupts the flow. In the OOC boards its fine, but still try to use it sparingly.
4. NO DISCRIMINATION :: This is a biggee. I will not tolerate racial, religious, orientation or any kind of slurring. It is disrespectful, and disgusting. This is a very tolerant website, and we accept people from ALL backgrounds. I will respect every one of you and expect you to maintain the same decorum for other members. Discrimination of any kind will result in suspension or banishment depending on the severity. I am very serious about this rule people. Don't push it, it may as well be written in diamond.
5. Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll :: I don't mind any of this. We are all (or should be) mature here. But if you plan on having a sexually related thread please spare some of the more graphic details. Also if you do plan on having any of this, make sure it is indicated in the title of the thread with "XXX". If you prefer that I make a hidden thread for you, I would be more than happy to do this for you. Just ask.
6. No Spamming :: Please don't spam in any of the threads or in the cbox. I have provided an advertisement board for you to advertise in. Ads posted anywhere else will be deleted.
7. Character Death :: I would prefer that we not really go into killing off each other's characters much. There will be NO SUICIDES. And no "I kill you, you kill me" lover situations either. Killing off a character is only acceptable with my permission. Which I will only grant with the written consent of all parties involved via owl.
8. No Huge Signatures :: Signature size is limited to no larger than 500px in width and 250 px in height. This more of a personal preference, but massive signatures are beyond annoying. If your sig is too large I will ask you to change it, and then if you don't in a timely manner, I will take it off myself.
9. Display Name :: Your display name must be your first and last name ONLY. You can have a middle name if you choose to, but you MUST have both the first and last name.
10. Respect Authority :: This goes against everything I believe in in real life, but besides that, it is important to have some jurisdiction, lest we become plagued with bedlam. You don't have to like me, (but I hope you do  ), but you do have to listen to me. I enforce the rules so that everyone can be happy. I assure you that I am not out to get anyone. But please respect my authority and the authority of the other moderators (when I get some).
